MiroslavR - aksuw, round 5 of T33

Hello,

I analyzed my game against aksuw from round 5 of T33. I put special attention to the endgame.
I put a few training questions (marked with ***).

Feel free to put comments and questions.

Hi. You comment on B's move 25: "More logical is 15...gxf5"

I think most players at my level wouldn't want to open up the file in front of the king, although I can see two forward pawns would be strong. Why do you at your levelsay gxf5 is better. Regards, Scott Eldredge (ICC seldredg)

As you pointed out 2 centrals pawns on e4 and f4 are strong. After 15...gxf5 black would control center, gets more space for his own pieces. It's very important that white can't attack black king, simple because these 2 pawns keeps white pieces out.
White would play sooner or later f4 and black will response with e4, and IMO black is ok.
